Five Questions For...Tatiana Calderon

It’s nearly impossible to see and hear nothing, so many of us find ourselves taken up by other people and institutions and turn them into somewhere else. It’s nearly impossible to reflect on ourselves before going on.

But our own existence, our own sense of self and common humanity is what keeps us all together in silence and being. Who are we? What are we meant to be? What matters?

Tatiana Calderon is the person leading the way by insisting these questions are answered before we go anywhere else. Her team of all-female, all-black ocean rowers are on their way to winning the 2021 World Rowing Championships in London.

Remember: I wrote down my future goals and things I’d like to see happen in just 30 days. See it in your own life, too!

Tatiana Calderon and her team won the 2013 World Championship in Guadalajara, Mexico. They take another stab at glory in what’s their home harbor. I’ll be rooting for her to pull this off again, and for us all to stop enabling other people to keep things rolling the way they’ve always been.
